I really wasn’t planning on posting again this weekend! So I’m really sorry if you’ve been bombarded with lots of posts over the last few days. It’s been pretty full-on I must say!
Another reason I wasn’t going to post today, is because I’m meeting up with friends in Manchester’s Northern Quarter this afternoon, and as it’s bank holiday weekend, things could get messy! Only kidding! (or am I?) Seriously though, the plan is to take the next two or three days off and enjoy a bit of time with friends and family. That probably means not much cooking but that’s okay. I’m feeling pretty confident I can choose paleo if I’m eating out. And anyway, the sun is shining and that’s got to be a good thing . . .
Here’s where I’m headed this afternoon! Doesn’t it look grand?
So, after eight days following paleo I can report back that I’ve lost a massive 6lbs! I’m not kidding! I wasn’t grossly overweight (see my about page photograph), so I’m absolutely amazed and thrilled. I want to loose at least a stone (14 lbs) so I’m very much on my way now.
It’s unlikely I’ll drop this amount of weight every week! If that was the case I’d be pretty worried! However, I wanted to show you in the form of tinned food, exactly how much weight I’ve lost . . . . .
There’s NO WAY I’d want carry this amount of food around all day. It’s good to see how much weight I’ve lost in the form of tins though. Plus, it also gives me the opportunity to re-arrange my cupboard space! 🙂
The tins weigh just over 6lbs but as near as damn it!
